Vision & Mission
Igniting the rural children’s minds by supporting their basic education in a holistic approach.
To enable basic education for children studying in rural and remote schools,
giving the necessary strong foundation in the direction towards the complete self-development of the
child through a holistic approach.
Millions of rural children across India and the globe, especially those relying on free education, still need to be served with more relevant, meaningful, and varied learning opportunities to truly become educated and uplift themselves economically in the future. BumbleB Foundation USA focuses on using technology-based learning, frameworks, and a variety of methods to serve 10,000 school installations in India by 2030.
Projects
BumbleB Foundation USA supports Kalvi40, a free educational service for Government School students primarily in the rural Tamilnadu and Puducherry states in India, through mobile and other technology solutions. The project name Kalvi40 comes from the ancient Tamil literature Thirukkural Chapter 40, Education, which focuses on the importance of education in human life.
Kalvi40 initiative is a classical example of how if citizens come together, changes can be brought at the grassroots level. Without any expectation, Kalvi40 volunteers have molded a success story for the larger benefit of Government school students and Teachers. These volunteers, comprising middle and high school students and adults, help in creating content for the Kalvi40 project.
